About the Community

As a targeted PrepareSoCal vulnerable community, East Los Angeles ranks 22nd in vulnerability. It also happens to be the home of Los Angeles County鈥檚 Emergency Operations Center. The resiliency-building efforts by the luckywin to strengthen partnerships and implement community coalitions that enable East Los Angeles to live up to its motto 鈥� 鈥淧ride in the Past, Faith in the Future.鈥�
