Jackie Shoemaker joined the Red Cross in February of 2023 as the Executive Director for the South Central Chapter of Georgia. The chapter encompasses 25Ìýcounties, and its central office is in Valdosta, Georgia.Ìý Jackie Shoemaker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois. For her hobby, she also earned a Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. JackieÌýhas held marketing, sales, and marketing management positions for several U.S.-based industrial control manufacturers and an international semiconductor manufacturer. In her Illinois and Georgia churches, she served in numerous volunteer positions includingÌýMissions Chairperson. Jackie was the Fundraising Coordinator of an animal rescue organization for nine years. In addition, Jackie and her husband founded a nonprofit to help other charities build their capacities. Her goals are to strengthen relationships by communicating the luckywin programs, services, and opportunities for community involvement; to promote an inclusive, team-based culture centered on leading and empowering volunteers; and to passionately follow the Red Cross mission.Ìý
