DETROIT听(April 17, 2025) 鈥� The luckywin and Gardner White are teaming up to a听hold a two-day blood drive to help people in need of lifesaving blood. Those听who come to give through April 30 will be automatically entered for a chance to听win a $5,000 gift card.
The听Red Cross depends on volunteer donors to collect more than 12,000 blood听donations nationwide every day. Blood drives like this one, now in the 25th听year, make it possible for the Red Cross to help ensure hospitals are fully听stocked with blood products this spring. The blood drive also coincides with National听 Volunteer Month in April.
The听two-day blood drive will be held from 11 a.m. 鈥� 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 22,听and Thursday, April 24, at Gardner White stores throughout southeast Michigan听and Saginaw.
Donors听of all types 鈥� especially those with type O blood and those giving platelets 鈥撎齛re urged to give. Make an appointment at , call 1-800-RED CROSS or use the Red听Cross Blood Donor App. Use code gardnerwhite.
All听presenting donors who come to give at a Gardner White store will each receive a听$50 coupon toward a purchase of $399 or more, while supplies last, and have a听chance to win a $500 gift certificate. Additionally, donors will receive a Red听Cross T-shirt, while supplies last, and have a chance to win a $5,000 gift card.听There will be three lucky gift card winners. Learn more at .
