LUBBOCK WARMING CENTERS
According to the city's website, an emergency warming center can be opened and operated when the National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts temperatures at 25 degrees or below, an inch or more of snow, temperatures below 32 degrees with an inch of driving rain, severe wind chills or extreme temperature fluctuations.
All library branchesÌýwill serve as warming centers during their normal operating hours, offering water, free Wi-Fi and charging stations for anyone needing to safely get out of the cold.
