A tribute gift to the Red Cross is an extraordinary way to honor a special person in your life. You are not only honoring the life of a loved one and their family you’re helping your community recover from disasters.
When a gift is made in someone’s honor or memory, the honoree, or a designated member of their family will receive a card letting them know about your generous donation. The amount of the gift will be confidential. As an added benefit to you, you will receive a receipt for your donation which is tax deductible.
If you would like to direct family and friends to make gifts to the luckywin in honor of or in memory of a loved one, the following is suggested wording for an obituary or other tribute:
