The Cascades Region answered the call when catastrophic wildfires devastated the town of Lahaina in Maui. In all, 33 responders (and counting) made the trip. Meet Julia Bishop who went to the island. She's deployed over 50 times with the Red Cross.

Video: Red Cross Cuts the Ribbon on a New Blood Donation Site in Wood Village
More than 182,000 units of blood are collected in Oregon and Washington each year. The new blood donation site in east Multnomah County will make it easier for people to donate. It's been a huge success and has been filling up with appointments.
