At the Red Cross House, people displaced by a disaster have access to the following at no cost:

• Their own room and key for each family, complete with bathroom and mini-fridge
• A safe, secure and clean facility, with staff available 24/7
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided daily
• A caseworker who will work with each family in creating and implementing a recovery plan

The Red Cross House also provides these amenities and services:

• Mental health and spiritual counseling
• Computer and internet access
• Access to clothing and washer/dryer
• Indoor and outdoor play areas for children
• Communal areas including a TV room and library
• Locked area to temporarily store belongings
• Workshops on trauma and loss, fire safety and prevention, homeowners and renters insurance, and more
